This workshop introduces kids to simple machines through fun and challenging LEGO projects. Participants explore and investigate topics such as gears, levers, pulleys, wheels & axles, as they construct a variety of mechanisms using educational robotic kits. By the end of the workshop, children will have an understanding of these mechanical concepts and their real-life applications.

During this workshop, young city planners can design and create everything from simple stacks to elaborate cities full of towering skyscrapers using KEVA planks. These identical construction blocks stack with surprising stability and using only gravity, children dabble with physics in order to achieve balance, optimum proportion and a steady structure. Create castles, bridges, trains, and full scenes such as landscapes, farms or arenas—use your imagination!

Blending science with art, this workshop brings out the designer, architect and engineer in each child. Problem-solve and think in three dimensions. You might even dream up a fantastic design that will one day shape a city's skyline!

An innovative and exciting workshop that offers kids a look into engineering marvels. They get to learn about the science behind building and construction. Children will be challenged to build towers using newspapers, they can design and test shapes. They will learn how to make beams and arches and test column strength. They will learn about various kinds of bridges and compete in other building challenges using Jodo straws, LEGO blocks, Foam Blocks and notched cardboard boards.
