This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for children to see and experience how colors and patterns mix and form other colors and patterns. They will learn about primary, secondary and tertiary colors and introduce them to the process of art creation using a form called Spin Art.

Sample Activities:
• What two colors do we mix to get Green? Purple? Orange?
• How do we get a lighter shade of any color?
• How can we align vertical lines and horizontal lines to form checks?
• How can we create art using paint, a canvas and a spinning platform?

With recycling and reusing some of the things that we throw away, we can make less trash and reduce the amount of energy needed to make new products. This fun think-outside-the-box workshop aims to teach children how to make use of some of the junk that we cast aside and how to turn them into art pieces.

Puppets are a great way to involve children in creative play because they have to build characters, take on roles and act out scenarios. Making Puppets with children is one of the easiest and most fun ways of stimulating creativity. This workshop will help your kids get started with puppets right away, with materials you probably already have around the house. Kids will learn to make their own puppets. They will be encouraged to dramatize a story on stage using these puppets.
