The man behind Zik is Alex Vozikis who is also responsible for older projects like Adrenal Gland in the years 2006-2010, Horror Place project in the years 2004-2008 and Matutero project in the years 2000-2004. He has even collaborated with other artists like Jibber Jabber, ZikOre, PolyZik, KukuRuku and more. Alex started the music scene when was 13 years old on gabber hardcore with artist name Terrorist around 1997 and in the year 1999 he started to write chill out and psychedelic music with friends and moved into the world of Zik.

He started playing around the globe and met many interesting earthlings that exchanged the same vibe of creation, which is sound. Demoniac Insomniac is Boris Kirov from Macedonia, owner of Active Meditation Music. He started to freak out and make music in 2004. He is a music shaman, exploring madness, from heaven to hell, from sanity to insanity. Playing long and powerfull sets ranging from 150 to 200 BPM. His music is often being played by many DJ’s all around the world, including Goa Gil, Dj Iguana, Dj Mutaro, Djane Moksha and many others.

After releasing many tracks on various labels and more than 2 years in the studio he is finally releasing his debut album called “Power Of Destruction” on Rockdenashi Productions, which contains the energy from his spiritual journey thru his musical experience. After the great success of his compilation “VA - Mindwar” there is a new double CD compilation called VA - Spiritual Science (compiled by Demoniac Insomniac) coming soon on Active Meditation Music, containing 21 tracks from the best pioneers of psychedelic music and many new talented producers discovered by him, to insure the best vibes on the Psychedelic dance floors worldwide.
