POINT OF VIEW sealed their way to stardom by winning two of the biggest awards in the UAE, supported and sponsored by the TIMEOUT DUBAI MUSIC AND NIGHTLIFE COMMITTEE for 2012-2013. The band was nominated in categories.

POINT OF VIEW launched their album in style at THE HARD ROCK CAFE DUBAI on the 3rd of October 2012. Their debut album is called REVOLUTIONIZE THE REVOLUTIONARY and features 11 hard hitting tracks that talk about hope in a world ridden with social evils, stigma, corruption, greed, racism and religious intolerance.

What is most special about the launch is the fact that the band is endorsed by the iconic guitar player, MR.RON BUMBLEFOOT THAL, from Guns N' Roses. He not only endorses the band’s music but also flew down to share the stage with the band at their launch gig. MR.RON BUMBLEFOOT THAL played the whole 11 tracks with the POINT OF VIEW at their album launch.

POINT OF VIEW is a 5 piece ensemble from Dubai, UAE. The band has been around for more than 4 years and has played some very credible gigs in the UAE. The band headlined the ESPN X GAMES and the ABU DHABI F1 and was one of the short listed acts to share the stage with the legendary rockers, IRON MAIDEN. POINT OF VIEW releases their debut album REVOLUTIONIZE THE REVOLUTIONARY, which is distributed by MUSIC BOX MIDDLE EAST in the Middle Eastern market. Besides garnishing the flavor of vintage rock concocted with a modern feel that one spots on this record, what also makes this record characteristic is the lyrical backdrop that carves every song into a message, those in relevance with this day and age. POINT OF VIEW has managed to write an album, which not only delivers a strong message to the global youth, but also brings back the sound of rock from the 80’s and the 90s’. •POINT OF VIEW is probably the first band from the Asian Sub Continent to have been officially endorsed by a celebrity guitar player like RON BUMBLEFOOT THAL, from a legendary band like GUNS N ROSES.

•POINT OF VIEW is a band where a celebrity guitar player like RON BUMBLEFOOT THAL has flown in voluntarily from NEW YORK to join the band on stage at their album launch and even run a dedicated GUITAR WORKSHOP in DUBAI with the band's two guitar players, Royden aka Mc Daddy and Murtaza aka KV.

•90% of the proceeds generated from POINT OF VIEW album sales are donated to various ANIMAL CHARITY GROUPS, as the band feels very strongly about charity and care for homeless animals

•POINT OF VIEW has also composed the theme music for one of the biggest NEWS PAPERS in the UAE namely KHALEEJ TIMES

•POINT OF VIEW composed a single for the launch of the DUBAI METRO

•POINT OF VIEW with the help of their music is starting a STUDENT EDUCATION PROGRAM in INDIA to educate youth about their social/political rights and responsibilities which can in turn help them work towards the betterment of the country
