DJ Nawed Khan is one of the biggest names in an ever changing and emerging DJ scene in India. A resident at Submerge, Bombay's only dedicated House and underground night, Promoted by MTV's Nikhil Chinapa. Being an internet Junkie with DJ friends across the globe, Nawed has constantly stayed ahead of the slow paced music scene in India by Acquiring and playing brand new tunes and almost Impossible to obtain mixes of classics. This became his USP at Submerge, and subsequently at Sunburn (The biggest Electronic Dance music festival in Asia).

A resident at Dubai's latest hotspot 'Pulse' and a regular feature in clubs around India and South East Asia, Nawed has played across 5 continents in countries like The UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, South Africa, Kenya, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Spain, USA, Australia. He's also the the only Indian DJ to have performed with international heavy weights like Axwell (Swedish House Mafia), Paul Van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Markuz Schulz, Sander Van Doorn, Paolo Mojo, Gareth Emery, Simon Dunmore, Norman Doray, Arno Cost, John 00 Fleming, DJ Pearl, Gordon Edge, Pole Folder, RDB, Sukhbir, and Imran Khan to name a few.

Nawed has distinguished himself as a producer partnering with Nikhil Chinapa to produce several super hit Bollywood soundtracks and the alternate remix market. Nikhil and Nawed are amongst the first DJ-Producers to have their work featured as part of a mainstream bollywood movie 'Musafir' with their mixes of tracks 'Door Se Paas' and 'Rabba'. Their remix of 'Deedar De' from the movie 'Dus' replaced the original in the movie, and movies like Zinda, Acid Factory, Superstar, Mujhse Fraandship Karoge, Shaitan used their remixes to headline their promotional videos.

Over the years Nawed's work has been part of the biggest names in Bollywood - Yash Raj Films, Shahrukh Khan's Red Chilies Ent., T-series, Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films, Anurag Kashyap in his latest film Shaitan. He's also a favored Producer / Remixer for superstar music directors Vishal - Shekhar, Pritam and Shameer Tandon. His latest work includes a special remix for the movies Shaitan and Mujhse Fraandship Karoge. His recent releases include smash hits from the movies Billu Barber, Golmaal Returns, Acid Factory, Jail, Mann tu talebat from Superstar, Om shanti Om, and Woodstock villa.
