The North East Design Fest organized by The North East Institute of Fashion Technology (NEIFT) in association with various Government agencies, will be a four day festival that includes fashion shows, cultural event, musical show and exhibition stalls of handloom and handicrafts of the North East Region. The North East Design Fest showcases the strong history of traditional textiles and handicrafts from the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur Mizoram and Sikkim designed by fashion designers like Monapali, Gaurang Shah, Agnimitra Paul, Meghna Rai Medhi, Aji Semy Rengma, Charlee Lalthlenmawia, Boney Darang, Plabita Gogoi, Vianney Basledor Nongrum, Wede Khape, Rinzing Choden Bhutia and Melody Runremsangi.

The North East Design Fest will have Bollywood actors Minisha Lamba, Sonal Chauhan walk the ramp as showstoppers.

7.pm onwards - Fashion Shows, Cultural Programmes, Music Shows, etc.
