Although, WHO's focus this year on World Blood Donor Day is "Safe blood for saving mothers", India as a nation needs to emphasize on creating awareness among its citizens to promote blood donation. With millions of blood-related needs in our country, we are running short resulting in unnecessary deaths every-day. Donating blood needs to be taken seriously and we should pledge to donate blood twice a year. Let's start this Saturday, 14th June 2014 at your favourite mall - Select Citywalk, Saket.
