Get ready to be blown away by the soulful music of Turkush this International Music Day on 4th October,7pm onwards only at Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.

Turkush is a Multi Genre Hindi Band, based in New Delhi, India . The name has been derived from a Devnagari word - तरकश, meaning Basket/Container of the Arrows(tir) used by the warriors , army as well as in Hindi mythology by Bhagwaan Ram !

Turkush started in the fall of December, 2011.

The Band is comprised of hybrid styles of furnished and evergreen instrumentation , hence giving birth to varied emotions. It aims to spread the message of love !

And now, something about Turkush's wizards!!

Two talented and dedicated musicians , Vibhor ( Keyboardist ) and Sidaque ( Drummer ), were in the same school. On realizing their magical ability and dedication towards music, they took to making it large and thus decided to start a Hindi Rock band that aimed to promote their music !

Vibhor, the mastermind behind this project, is known as the backbone of the band . He plays a great role in adding soul to the songs with varied melodies. His fingers on his keyboard keys is a magic to experience.

p.s. Vibhor makes sure that everyone is 'on time' !

Sidaque, a metal lover, a true Metallica fan, is a self trained drummer . He is the man who is not only known to be a trustworthy, but also is loved by all ! He adds rythms to the songs and doesn't let the zeal die... thanks to his true punjabi nature ! ;)

On the way , Turkush found it's voice -

Sidhant, a fun loving fellow, blessed with a soothing voice. When on stage , he owns it.. and his talent of interacting with the audience and being one with them can surely not be ignored. He has a mind blowing control over his voice . He prefers rock music. But experimenting with his voice is something he can't jam without!

Sidhant, with Turkush, realized that we needed one more member for Vocals who can join him with backings and chorus. . And we realized , Atharv was the right person fro the same.

Atharv, the nervous system of Turkush, is a self trained semi classical singer who started singing from 11th standard. He is lively and can never get you bored. He can make listeners groove with his astonishing voice and has truly added an extra edge to Turkush numbers . We found a dedicated singer in him, who can give a folk touch to Turkush's compositions .

As Turkush was looking for a soul filler guitarist for the band , they found a strings players - Bhavya ( Guitars )

Bhavya , the patch specialist is famous for his guitar patches in band :D and perfectly knows what notes have to be played to complete the feel of the
song . He is the Youngest part , who is pampered by other members of the band because of his childlike charm . He is a self trained player , playing since he was 10.
A blues lover, also keenly follows Steve vai and Satriani . In him , we found a very well sustained musician !

Turkush finally found someone who has done PHD in percussions - Gurpinder Pal Singh. Playing since he was in 5th standard ! Learnt playing the instrument in a Gurudwara ! Full of 'Desipan' !
